In an attic studio, Calvin Bakelaar started his indie folk recording alias VANCAMP while crafting songs in the midst of the
pandemic. His acoustic/folk music seamlessly blends indie grit & acoustic charm. Since 2022, VANCAMP has 2 EP’s: 523 (2022) & Camper Van (2023). In 2023, he played Peterborough Folk Fest and opened for artists like Mariel Buckley, Field Guide, and Texas King.
